Our team was tasked with modernising and extending an existing kitchen and living area in a way that seamlessly blended both functionality and luxury. The brief was clear: create a space that not only combined the kitchen and living areas but also ensured that the overall design maintained a luxurious yet livable atmosphere, perfect for everyday family use while also serving as a stylish, modern space for entertaining.
To achieve this, O’Keeffe Building Services designed and built a fully integrated kitchen that flows effortlessly into the living area, ensuring that the two spaces felt connected while remaining distinct. One of the key features of the design was the incorporation of Velux windows and new bi-fold doors, strategically placed to allow natural light to flood the space and enhance the feeling of openness and connection with the outdoors. The choice of these elements was intended to make the most of the natural surroundings, creating a light, airy, and spacious atmosphere that would elevate the entire living experience.
The kitchen itself was completely modernised with a focus on contemporary lighting, elegant surfaces, and a reimagined layout that offered both aesthetic appeal and practical functionality. Every detail, from the choice of materials to the arrangement of the layout, was carefully considered to ensure that the space felt as luxurious as it was functional. The integration of state-of-the-art appliances and stylish fixtures further enhanced the sense of luxury, while also ensuring that the space was practical and easy to maintain.
